Who We Are
Choosing senior care or home care assistance involves more than just evaluating costs.
While affordability matters, the heart of quality care lies in compassionate service delivered by trusted
professionals. Prioritizing both ensures your loved ones receive the comfort, support, and dignity they deserve.
Teresa Hendricks
Owner
I have always had a special connection to the elderly. This comes in part to my mother having me when she was 42 years old and raising me as a single mom. Interacting with the “older generation” as a child growing up in Wilson gave me a unique perspective on the needs of our loved ones as they age. When my mother’s health declined and she moved in with me, I had the honor of caring for her as she battled a long list of health issues including dementia. Becoming a caregiver for her allowed me to see the struggles and challenges that loved ones face as well. I know what caregivers go through and this created a passion in me to help loved ones stay at home and ease the burdens on family members.
While Assisted Living facilities have their place, I have learned that patients have a much better quality of life when living at home. I want to “Lighten the Load” for parents and family by providing professional and heartflet care, doing everything we can to make their lives better. My over 18 years of experience in the Home Health Industry (8 as an employee of a company and 10 as a business owner), along with a team of highly skilled and compassionate colleagues can help provide quality care for loved ones and peace of mind for families.
